Nightline

Nightline Band has been providing top-notch entertainment in and around the Detroit Metro area for more than 7 years. Performing for such corporations as Mercedes Benz, Ford Motor Corporation, Chrysler Corporation, McNaughton-McKay, The Annual Autism Society Ball, Aetna Insurance, to name a few and continues to provide their services for these and many other corporations.

The Bar & Bat Mitzvah scene, festivals and of course WEDDINGS are their specialty. The band takes pride in working with the bride and groom, providing an extensive itinerary planning the evening's events to make sure they have a successful reception.

The group's repertoire covers music from the Glen Miller and Tommy Dorcy era straight through golden oldies, Motown, Disco and top 40. Their fabulous rhythm section can provide quiet easy listening music during cocktails and dinner and then add the (3) front vocalists to the mix to really rock the house at the height of the evening's events.

Betsy Bombalski, one of the unique lead vocalists in the band, has been with such touring groups as Meadowbrook Estate and Mainstreet, and has opened for such stars as Louise Mandrel, Rich Little and The Drifters. Betsy has a wide vocal range and can cover a wealth of different musical styles. In addition, Betsy has performed at many corporate and State Fair events across the United States and Canada.

One of the other lead vocalist in the group Susie Taylor, can be heard around town as she has performed on a variety of CD's. She has opened for such acts as Tommy James and Gary Pucket, as well as singing the opening number promotional piece for the 1996 Indianapolis 500. Her most recent project was participating in a local all-star tribute to the American Lung Association's “Christmas in Michigan” CD.

Both Betsy and Susie have terrific emcee skills and is no stranger to emceeing in a corporate setting or bridal setting.

One recent addition to the band is an outstanding vocalist Major Sapp who has had a long run of successful appearances in and around the Detroit area. Major can put a spin on a tune that will really get the crowd fired up and dancing. His smooth stylings cover a wealth of material from Sinatra to Motown to Shaggy.

For whatever the function, Nightline will provide an entertaining and unique experience for all!
